Rapid Backup and Restore
Ease and speed of the backup and restore system is quite surprising when contrasted with other databases.
If you are accustomed to backup speeds in conventional databases, the backup and restore time in Lava SQL will be simply astonishing.
On a moderate server, a 25Gb database will take anything up to 24 hours or more to restore into a MySQL database. On the same server, the identical database will restore in 45 minutes or less using the Lava SQL restore.
Simple and fast backup
A single interface allows selection of schemas to be included in the backup, by simply flagging or unflagging a presented list.
Backup speed is very fast - a database of 10 Gbyte can be fully backed up within 7 minutes on a moderately fast server.
Timestamp-selectable Restore
A single interface provides for selection of a nominated backup, following which a list of timestamps is provided to allow selection of the appropriate backup for restore.
Restore speed is extremely fast. A 10 Gbyte database can be restored within 5 minutes on a moderately fast server.
